A good coat solves most problems, and this heavy black one is definitely doing the work. I stuck to a monochrome palette today because I own too many coats and they all match anyway. The wide trousers and the long coat create a seamless line that’s easy to walk in. The boots blend with the pants, so the outfit is just one long block of black, with my hair as the only contrast. It’s a uniform, but a comfortable one.
